McMahons Building & Home Improvement Centre is the largest independent Builders Providers in Ireland. We provide quality products and materials for infrastructural, commercial, new builds & home improvement projects in a manner that earns our customers lifetime loyalty.

We have 11 Branches situated all over Ireland. 3 Branches in Northern Ireland and 8 in Southern Ireland.
L'Derry, Coleraine, and Omagh.
Galway, Portarlington, Limerick, Waterford, Tralee, Fermoy, Cork and Dunmanway.

Who can shop in McMahon's?
All of our stores are open to the general public and the trade. We pride ourselves on our extensive product range that caters for all our customers from the professional builder to the DIY Homemaker no matter how small or big the project.

How do I go about setting up a Trade Credit Account?
Application forms are available from your local branch or you can request an application from to be sent to you by email. You can also download the application form from our website. You must then post these back to or hand them into your nearest branch.All information regarding the Trade Credit Account including what you need to apply can be found in our Trade Credit Account section from the home page.
I'm not happy with the service in a store, what can I do?
At McMahon's we endeavour to do everything we can to provide excellent customer service. Please let us know if you are unhappy with that service so we can improve for the future. You can contact the Manager of the store by email, phone, fax or in person. All Contact Details are provided in our contact us page. Alternatively, you can fill out the contact from on the website.

Can place an order over the telephone with my nearest store?
If you ring your local branch, and ask to speak to one of our sales team, you can place your order over the telephone, and they will assist you with any queries.
What kind of products do you stock?
We stock a wide range of products from the pegs, lime and tape needed for the initial marking out of your house to the doors, floors and decorating materials needed to make your house into a home. All our product categories can be viewed online including:

Can I buy online?
some of our more bulky items, you may not be able to buy online. It will be clearly marked on the product whether you can buy online, buy instore only or both.
How do I buy online?
- Search for the item you want using the search facility or by searching the product categories.
- Add the items to your shopping basket.
- When you have the items you want click go to checkout
- You will need to register your details before you put payment through.
- After registration, you will be taken to the payment screen. Follow the payment instructions carefully.
- After your payment has gone through, you will receive a confirmation email.
The item I want can only be bought in store. Can I reserve this online?
Unfortunately, items cannot be reserved online. However, you can add your items to the wishlist, which will list the products you want to buy with their codes and prices. This will make it very easy and quick to purchase the items in store.
What is the Wishlist and how do I use it?
If you want to view our products online but you don't wish to but online, the wishlist allows you to create a list of products you want to buy in store. This can then be brought in store and processed. It makes the transaction very quick and easy as all product codes, prices and the quantities you want will be on the wishlist.
Do I need to register to buy online?
Yes, you will need to register with us to start buying online. This is a very simple and quick process. Registering means you don't have to enter your details every time you shop with us. It also allows you to save your wishlists and shopping baskets for another time. It allows us and you to better manage your online shopping.
When will my order be delivered?
All orders are received and processed on the same day. The delivery normally takes 2-3 working days. However, there may be some items where you may have to wait longer. These items will be clearly marked with a delivery time of 10- 14days
Where do you deliver to?
Our courier Service delivers to UK and Ireland. Rates vary outside Ireland.
Can I specify a delivery date when ordering?
No, unfortunately you can't specify a delivery time. You will recived notcification of when your order has been dispatached and the order will be delivered within 2 - 3 days
How do I know if McMahons has received my order?
Once your order is placed, you will receive an email to let you know we have received it. You will also get an email when we have dispatched your order with the expected delivery date.
Do I have to sign for my delivery?
Yes, our delivery service requires a signature for every delivery, this ensures that we can track any order, and have confirmation from the customer that you have received your order.
Can I track my order?
We use a courier service called Fastway. Their website www.fastway.ie has a tracking service. Once your order has been despatched, we will send you a confirmation email with your delivery tracking order. This will allow you to track your order.
Are receipts sent with delivery?
Yes, you will receive a receipt with your order. Ensure you keep your receipt as you will need it if you need to returns goods.
Can I return an item and get a refund?
We accept all returns if the item has not been damaged and you have a receipt. The refund amount will go back onto the card you paid with.
How can I pay for my order?
We only offer Pay Pal as a method of payment as well as debit and credit cards.
I've not received my item, what do I do?
You can track your item using our courier service tracking system. Visit www.fastway.ie and enter the tracking number that you received in your email confirming dispatch. If you did not receive a confirmation email, please contact us directly on 1800 804016.
I forgot my login details, Can I reset my password?
If you have forgotten your password, you can use our forgot password facility under the log in tab on our homepage. Enter your email address, and we will email you your password.
Do you offer any discount offers?
Any special offers or discounts that we will be promoting will be on our homepage or in or our clearance section. You can also sign up to our newsletter, which will mean you will hear about these offers first. Also, keep an eye out for our special tags informing you of offers on products throughout the site
I cannot download the PDF Brochures
If you cannot download or view a brochure, you may need to download PDF Viewing software on your machine. This can be Foxit PDF or Adobe PDF.You can use to download these programs from the links below:

Can I remove my account?
The search is giving me no results? Am I doing something wrong?
Our Search facility scans all of the text in the site in search of your specified keywords. If it is not returning any results you may have to choose a more general keyword.
I am not happy with the service online, what can I do?
We have a very strong customer service ethos and adhere to this at all times. If you are unhappy with the service online please select the complaint option from the drop down menu on the enquiry form on the contact us page. We will endeavour to resolve your complaint quickly and efficiently.
