When fitting a letter box, ensure the aperture is positioned at a comfortable delivery height (typically 700-1500mm from the ground) and that the plate width clears the door stile width on both sides. For UPVC doors, always use a letter box rated for UPVC panels and check the required cutout dimensions match the door profile.
